I love to finish the year with writing a recap of the past year and a plan/script for the upcoming year. This is one of my fav exercises.
Too often we get immersed in what didn’t turn out, in what went wrong and what we didn’t accomplish.
This gets us now where. It literally brings us more of the same, which deep down isn’t what we’re searching for.
One year ago I purposely set the intention to chase my fears, to focus on listening to and honouring my intuition, and to follow anything that was IN alignment with the direction I wanted to pursue. I followed the energy, actually I chased it. If the energy felt positive, I followed it. If it didn’t, I said no thank you.
As a result, I am blown away by the number of incredible people and events who entered my life in 2017. I had to be open, ready and willing to see it, and I decided I was ready!
To create change in my life required ME to change first.
I decided to:
It started with me because I decided it was time, and I was ready and open to ask for help from others. Collaboration with others opened the doors. It’s really that simple.
2017 saw the release of my first book, building a coaching business, speaking engagements and running my first women’s empowerment event.
2017 has been the spring board for 2018.
It can be for you too once you decide it’s time.
As we move into 2018 I am most excited about the people I can impact, the belief I can help create in others and the massive ripple effect of empowering others to own and share their stories. Our stories can be our fuel in life and not our anchors.
The women I’m linking arms with this year are here to make a difference and I have full faith that come the end of 2018, they will be amazed at what they too have created.
If this is the year that you are ready to let go of the meaning of your story and write a new ending, then we should connect. You deserve to let go of the “weight” of the story you’ve been carrying. I believe in you and you deserve to soar in 2018!!
