Hi, I'm Marsha
I was burnt out.
I spent decades in push mode, doing more, burning out nonstop, and, in a 28-year profession, making almost the same range of income, and it always felt like it was never enough. I was convinced that this was what my life was meant to look like. No matter how hard I tried to create change, the result was the same.
At the core of that was the limiting belief that “I wasn’t deserving of more,” and that was a tough one to recognize. I was praying for change and it came in a way I couldn’t have anticipated.
It was 2020, my 28-year career was gone overnight due to the pandemic. And I was prepping for a surprising emergency back surgery, and honestly, exhausted and scared to death.
This was when NLP officially entered my life…while sitting in that hospital bed, learning how to walk again, that I vowed I would learn more about myself. NLP became the work I didn't know I needed, yet, drastically impacting my life and business.
I learned about the subconscious mind, how it is responsible for 95% of our results, and how to speak life into what I wanted vs what I didn’t want. Over the next 3 years, I committed to learning more about the subconscious mind and went from my NLP Practitioner, to Master Practitioner, to NLP Trainer to create my own NLP Program, called OUTSPOKEN.
With no proof of concept, creating a program of this size and magnitude, I doubled down on my own tools. I burned down all of my business programs in 2022 to bring this idea and program to life. I went all in. I started speaking and sharing about OUTSPOKEN and launched the first cohort in 2023. We kicked off that first cohort with 2 people, and I was buried in debt from all of my training, from starting over at 50 years old, and because I could finally see how my relationship with and beliefs about money needed to be addressed.
Through this work of NLP, I became aware of the thoughts and stories on repeat and created a new money story that I stepped into every day. This was more repetitions than anyone ever saw, more self-coaching, and consistent subconscious reprogramming. By the end of 2024 I had 5x’d my business in one year. I knew I was just getting started.
In 2025, I didn’t know that I was walking into one of the hardest years ever. We experienced lots of loss, grief and personal challenges. I went through multiple business audits, while also offering so many brand-new things in my business.
My nervous system learned how to feel safe, grounded and regulated in uncertainty. I kept envisioning, seeing, feeling, and hearing the growth in our business, the overflow, our team growing, AND a zero balance on all of my outstanding audits. This made no “logical sense” given where we were, just 2 months from the end of 2025. I became unshakable that it was happening…I could see it before I could see it.
I continued to experience failed and missed payments, payment processors “losing money in the virtual space.” I was making sales and couldn’t access the money. I kept focusing on where I was going. In the most illogical way possible, November and December of 2025 became my highest months ever, and as of the end of December, I had a zero balance on my audits showing.
This work works.
As a result, within 2 years, we 9x’d our business, grew our team, expanded our business into OUTSPOKEN Master Practitioner and into OUTSPOKEN Publishing, where we published 4 books in two years. And we are just getting started.
As a result of this work, my business has grown, I have more support than ever, I honour and live in my values and boundaries and I can see even more clearly what is possible. I am changing my family’s financial future while creating a massive impact in the world. If it is possible for me, it is possible for you too!
