#285: Trust Means Letting Go of the Plan
#285: Trust Means Letting Go of the Plan
In this "Monday mindset'' episode, I am sharing some thoughts on trust and intuition. These words come up so often in this online coaching space while building a business. They also come up a lot in our personal lives. As important as it is to create a plan, it is equally important to know when to let go of the plan.
In today’s episode we discuss:
1) The plan is the guideline that we set out for our business and life. If you have ever learned before that once you make the plan, then it never goes according to plan. We only know what we know. That is it. It is based on all the past lessons we have learned and experiences we have lived. Past that we don't know what is possible outside of that.
2) Building intuition and trust means not micromanaging the details. It means letting go of the control and knowing that you are here to create something incredible. If you don't believe that deep down on the cellular level, then it means doing the work on subconscious reprogramming to change those beliefs. It means acknowledging as my coach Rachel Joy says, “this or something better”
3) We don't tend to learn trust and intuition until we have built the proof that it is possible. We have to let go and learn the lessons and meet the people who will bring us to the next stage of our life. We must focus on what we can control and that is ourselves.
