#226: Flaunt Your Flaws with Rubi Skilton
Today we are speaking with Podcast Audio Expert & Limb Difference Advocate, Rubi Skilton. Rubi is a podcast producer, audio expert, limb difference advocate, speaker, and entrepreneur. Being born with a physical difference could have positioned Rubi’s life to go in a different direction. She could’ve fallen into the victim mentality and lived a life of “I wish I could…”, but she used her difference as fuel to become successful and impact others. Throughout the years, Rubi lost herself in the world of expectations. Her voice was lost amongst the masses, so she pushed herself out of her comfort zone and started a podcast to use her voice. Rubi founded Podcast & Co., where she works with high-level entrepreneurs, coaches, and influencers to help them not only connect with their audience on a deeper level but also have their voices heard.
In this episode, we discuss:
- How owning her story and being an example for others for limb differences inspires her to keep showing up as her true authentic self.
- If no one is talking about the mission that is on your heart or the things that are important to you, maybe that’s because it is actually yours to bring to life?
- Taking something that we can be so terrified of such as public speaking and seeing it in different eyes as something you have to do in order to move to that next level that is always available to you.
