Today we are speaking with Brenda Halloran. Brenda was the Mayor of the City of Waterloo, Canada from 2006-2014. She decided it was time to step up and be the mayor without any prior political experience but had a dream and a vision and the support of incredibly strong women in our community. Today, Brenda is the Chair of the Board of Startup Canada and has her own consulting business. She is also a wedding officiant. Brenda is highly engaged in the community and is the Past President of the Rotary Club of Waterloo, sits on the board of the Sexual Assault Support Centre of Waterloo Region, the Women’s Crisis Services of Waterloo Region and oneROOF. She believes in coaching and mentoring others and helping them achieve their highest potential.
