#51: "You Cannot Give What You Do Not Have"
#51: "You Cannot Give What You Do Not Have"
In this Monday Mindset episode we talk about the fact that you cannot give what you do not have. When your cup is completely dry, and you self-care game is lacking because life keeps throwing you massive challenges, it is time to break the cycle. It is the time to stop pushing and doing the do, and time to slow down and create space to allow grace, self-compassion, self-love, self-care, forgiveness and so much more to become the top priority. We cannot give what we do not have!
In this episode we talk about:
1. Our stories happen to us for a reason, giving a purpose (instead of asking why) to our stories can be very healing for our journey.
2. Recognizing that we are done, we have no more to give to others. Instead of pushing to complete breakdown it is necessary to break the cycle and stop.
3. Shifting our words, perspective, language and thoughts can reframe what is happening to us.
4. Feel the feelings and emotions, if you need to cry, then cry. Numbing and blocking the feelings only delays the healing and gives power to the emotions instead of back to us!
5. Only when we learn to give to ourselves first can we truly give to others.
6. Focus on controlling what we can control, our responses, reactions, and our actions are all our choices.
7. The incredible opportunity to share our stories in the upcoming collaborative book and mastermind launching the first week of June.
