#45: “Is it Time to Raise Your Standards?”
#45: “Is it Time to Raise Your Standards?”
In this Monday Mindset episode we talk about creating change in our life by raising our standards and deciding that we want more for our lives. We must be the catalyst for change, it all starts with the internal work. Our life doesn’t change on its own, it changes by deciding to commit to doing the work to create change.
Today I share the importance of being that catalyst and raising our standards, expecting more for our lives.
In this episode we talk about:
1. We teach people how to treat us, and we decide to let the gossip or criticism dictate how we live our life. It is our choice how we let this impact us.
2. We decide the standards for what we want to create, how we want to live and how we want that life to play out. We can’t choose what happens to us, we can choose how we responds what happens to us.
3. Everything can change when we own our story, honour our values, and create boundaries to support our life.
4. If we make ourselves a priority in our lives, and increase our self-care practice, we can change how we respond to what happens in our lives.
5. Respecting our energy and choosing to surround ourselves with people who help us grow, raise our energy and believe in what we are capable of.
6. We can be the catalyst and we can change our story at any time we choose to.
