What Will They Say?
In this episode, I am sharing some thoughts on one of the most common questions I hear in my dm’s or from my clients as they are trying to find their voice and there’s this inherent fear of what will “they” say? We start with worrying about who “they” are, family, friends, relatives, co-workers, or even the strangers who show up in our lives to share their opinions and judgments with us.
In today’s episode we discuss:
1) Entrepreneurship is one of the biggest learning curves I have ever been on. It requires radical responsibility, ownership, letting go of control, asking for and allowing myself to receive help, consistent self-care practices, implementing boundaries, and rinsing and repeating this process daily.
2) Everytime I think or a client asks me, “what will they think?”, I stop and ask myself these questions. Who are they? Are they walking in my shoes, walking alongside me, in the arena or on the arena floor with me? If the answers are no, then I bless and release. A person’s behaviour says more about them than me.
3) If my words are triggering people, then I own that and I am ok with that. Triggers show us wounds we need to heal, what our soul knows is possible, and it is the beginning of creating potential change in our life. Besides if the ideas tap us on the shoulder then they are for us, and it is our job to work through the limiting beliefs of knowing that we already have the skill set to bring our vision to life.
