#85: "Putting the Armour Down"
#85: “Putting the Armour Down”
In this Monday Mindset Episode I am sharing a message I shared during my talk at The Great Canadian Woman’s Summit this past weekend in Gravenhurst. I talked about the weight of the armour, how we carry it to protect us, to keep us “safe and protected”, and how that armour is holding us back in our lives. When we learn to let go of the weight of that armour, we can truly find our freedom and our army of people who are there waiting to support us.
In this episode we talk about:
1. Why do we carry the armour, the weight of it, how we make choices in our everyday lives to lift the armour or put it down.
2. Owning our choices in each situation we face during the day, and that is where we tend to spend or lose our energy.
3. Choosing to show up, allow ourselves to be seen and heard, including all of our imperfections and messy lessons that we learned along the way, that is how we allow others to see us.
4. When we let go of the weight of that armour, we truly realize the feeling of freedom, happiness, joy and how light life can be.
5. Letting go of our armour to finally find our tribe. When we allow ourselves to be seen, beautiful things can happen as our people can finally find us. We realize we aren’t alone and that so many others are out there looking for us too!
